ALUMINIUM FERRULES

We supply the following types of Aluminium ferrule;

Long, Short, Tapered, Tapered (with Inspection hole),
Round, SYN type (for use with Fibre rope only)
Aluminium ferrules are compliant with DIN EN 13411-3
for rope slings compliant with DIN EN 13414-1.

LONG
For wire ropes with a max. tensile strength of 1,960 N/mm2
Suitable for steel wire ropes compliant with EN 12385-4
Manufactured from seamless tubes according to DIN EN 13411-3
Available in the sizes 2.5 – 52mm
Available in the sizes 1.0 – 2.0mm outside of the standard

SHORT
Material compliant with DIN EN 13411-3
Manufactured from seamless tubes
Requires lower press force
Available in the sizes 7 – 40mm

TAPERED (also available with INSPECTION HOLES)
Compliant with DIN EN 13411-3 for wire rope slings according to DIN EN 13414-1.

For wire ropes with a max. rated tensile strength of 1,960 N/mm2
Suitable for steel wire ropes compliant with EN 12385-4
Manufactured from seamless tubes compliant with DIN EN 13411-3
Pressed tapered part of the ferrule prevents catching on obstacles
Available in the sizes 8 – 52mm

SYN Type
Syn Type ferrules have been specially developed for fibre ropes.

Suitable for fibre ropes
During pressing, the ferrule buckles inwards and therefore does not form any sharp edges
Manufactured from non-seamless tubes
Available in the sizes 8 – 12mm

Round Type
In a Round design are used for wire rope end termination as an end stop or location point.

Manufactured from seamless tubes
Available in the sizes 1.5 – 40mm
